UrScout Terms of Service

Effective date: June 4, 2026 Last updated: June 4, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Trov Ventures LLC ("UrScout," "we," "us"), a New Jersey limited liability company. By creating an account or using UrScout, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use UrScout.

1. What UrScout is

UrScout is a personal alert system for sports collectors. You tell us the athletes, teams, leagues, and categories you care about, and we notify you when matching events (card shows, signings, mail-ins, athlete appearances) land near you. We curate the event sources; we do not run the events ourselves.

2. Who can use UrScout

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital consent age in your country, whichever is higher) to create an account. By signing in, you confirm that you meet that requirement. Some features may require additional age verification.

3. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You're responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. If someone uses your account without your permission, contact us at help@urscout.app as soon as you notice.

4. Subscriptions and billing

UrScout offers two subscription tiers, both purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system:

Both tiers include a 30-day free trial. You enter a payment method to start the trial; you will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel.

Auto-renewal disclosure (Apple-required)

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period at the price shown above, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions → UrScout on your iOS device. Deleting the UrScout app does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds

All refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's own policies. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Trov Ventures LLC does not issue refunds directly.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices in the future. If we do, we will notify you in advance and give you a chance to cancel before the new price applies to your account.

Family Sharing

UrScout subscriptions are eligible for Apple Family Sharing. Family members can use the subscription on their own devices per Apple's Family Sharing terms.

5. What you can and can't do

You may use UrScout for your personal collecting interests. You may not:

We may suspend or terminate your account if you do.

6. Event information

UrScout aggregates event information from public sources and a curated set of verified providers. We don't run the events. We do our best to keep details accurate, but:

Always confirm an event's current details with the host or source before attending or sending mail-ins. UrScout is not responsible for changes, cancellations, or experiences at events.

7. User submissions

UrScout V1 does not accept user-submitted events. If we add user submissions later, those Terms will include additional rules.

8. Intellectual property

UrScout, the UrScout name, the bullseye wordmark, and all software, copy, and design are owned by Trov Ventures LLC. Athlete names, team names, and logos referenced in UrScout belong to their respective rights holders and are used solely to identify the relevant events.

You may not use the UrScout name or marks without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

UrScout is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service or the events listed in it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trov Ventures LLC, its members, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of UrScout. Our total liability for any claim related to UrScout will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

You can stop using UrScout and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete Account). We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of New Jersey, and you and UrScout consent to that jurisdiction.

NOTE FOR LEGAL REVIEW: Consider whether an arbitration + class-action-waiver clause is appropriate for the launch jurisdiction. The default above is court-based to keep V1 simple. Apple does not require either approach.

13. Changes to these Terms

When we update these Terms, we will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you inside the app or by email before the change takes effect. Your continued use of UrScout after a change means you accept it.
